  • Discussion on potential strengths and proficiency gaps - referenced to ECR roles and responsibilities, research focus, academic performance framework, and individual experiences and ambitions.

Geri Masterclass for Academic Leaders

2-3 hour in-person, with supporting materials

  • Explore engagement-related trends, drivers and motivations, with a specific focus on engagement as a major transformation agenda and the role of academic leaders

  • Discussion and insights on engagement-related value creation, including a recognition of potential tensions or barriers (e.g. work intensification, publishing pressures)

  • Role of capabilities in individual and institutional success

  • Demystify and bring to life Geri capabilities

  • Relevance of Geri approach to academic leaders, including information of its use in professional development; de-risking major engagement investments; change management; recruitment, performance and promotions; and enabling a strategic engagement response.

  • Use of Geri case studies to help academic leaders explore and discuss engagement-related priorities, challenges and opportunities; including issues pertaining to capability development.
