The 3Ds of Geri

If we’re serious about growing engagement capabilities, we need three things.

First, we need a shared understanding (a common language) around what these capabilities actually are, and how they interact and fit together. We call this Demystify.

Second, we need to understand and be able to assess individual, team, faculty and / or institutional engagement capability profiles. We call this Diagnose.

Thirdly, we need to help people - particularly prioritised cohorts - explore their strengths and potential development needs and take action to address prioritised gaps; with a focus on both what’s important and what’s doable. We call this Develop

These 3Ds – demystify, diagnose and develop – are the foundations of the Geri approach.

Our work and experience tell us that – especially for more self-actuated individuals – just demystifying and diagnosing engagement capability profiles often has considerable value.

Importantly our approach to Develop, the third of the 3Ds, focuses on curating leading practice insights and resources - it’s not about reinventing the wheel. From an institutional perspective, this helps to drive efficiencies, strategic alignment and overcome issues arising from a producer led training paradigm (which has often historically been the case).

Catering to different institutional and professional needs, we offer a flexible mix of ready to use and bespoke solutions.
